2026 Local Business Reputation Report

Rateo is preparing a source-documented analysis of local-business reputation patterns. Results will be published only after the dataset, period, sample, methodology, and limitations are documented.

The framework below defines the fields that will be reported. It intentionally does not fill them with internal product numbers or unsupported market estimates.

Methodology

What must be documented before publication

Source data

To be documented before publication. Possible sources must be identified, permissioned where required, and separated from illustrative product data.

Period

To be defined and reported with exact start and end dates.

Sample size

To be published with the number of businesses and reviews included.

Inclusion criteria

To specify business eligibility, accessible review history, language, geography, and minimum observation rules.

Exclusions

To document duplicates, incomplete records, unavailable fields, test accounts, and any other exclusions.

Methodology

To define units, calculations, classification rules, missing-data handling, and comparison methods before conclusions are drawn.

Limitations

To explain selection bias, coverage, seasonality, platform changes, attribution limits, privacy boundaries, and why internal data may not represent the market.

How to use this report responsibly

When findings are published, readers should treat them as observations from the documented sample and period. They should not be read as a universal benchmark for every local business, country, industry, or Google profile.
